1. What this policy covers
This policy covers the AeoCam Windows app, this website, and our email support. The website currently presents the Windows product. It does not offer iOS or Android downloads.
Your camera manufacturer, operating system, email service, and any external services you choose have their own privacy policies. You are responsible for using your cameras and recordings in accordance with the laws that apply to you.
2. Your cameras and local data
Local camera viewing does not require an AeoCam account. Camera configurations, connection credentials, recordings, snapshots, and event history are stored on your Windows device or in a storage location you choose. Supported detection processes camera content on your device.
The app connects to the camera addresses you configure and uses the network and file access needed for the features you enable. Local storage does not mean the app or this website never uses the internet; technical diagnostics, website access, and actions you choose to take are described below.
3. Technical error reports
The Windows app may send technical reports when crashes or exceptions occur to help diagnose and fix errors. These reports may contain error types, code stack traces, and app or system versions. Technical error reports are not behavioral usage analytics.
These reports are not intended to collect images, video, recordings, camera names, personal names, camera addresses, or login credentials. Error reporting may use the internet independently of local camera viewing. Before sending an exported diagnostic report to support, review it and remove information you do not wish to share.
4. Website hosting and cookies
aeocam.com is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. When you visit, Cloudflare may process information such as your IP address, browser or device information, requested pages, and request times to deliver and secure the site.
We do not integrate advertising trackers or audience analytics into this website. Our page code does not set cookies. Hosting and security processing is governed in part by Cloudflare's privacy policy, available at Cloudflare.
5. Email support and files you share
If you email tardislabs@gmail.com, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. We use this information to answer your request and investigate the reported issue. Our email service provider also processes the message under its own privacy policy.
Exporting a file or choosing to send it by email can create copies outside the app. Share only what is necessary. Do not send camera passwords, private stream URLs, or footage you do not want us to receive. We do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising profiling.
6. Purposes, providers, and international processing
We use the information described above to operate and protect the website, provide support, diagnose errors, and meet applicable legal obligations. Where a legal basis is required, these activities rely on providing the service you request, our legitimate interests in reliable and secure services, or a legal obligation. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Hosting, email, and diagnostic providers may process information outside your country. Transfer protections depend on the provider and applicable law. Contact us for information about the providers and safeguards relevant to your data. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to address security incidents and protect legal rights.
7. Retention, security, and your controls
You control local recordings and history through the app, your chosen retention settings, and Windows file controls. Deleting app data may not delete files you exported, backups you created, or copies held by other services; manage those copies separately.
We keep support correspondence and technical information only for as long as needed for the purposes described here, including resolving issues and meeting legal obligations. Service providers apply their own relevant retention practices.
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information involved. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Protect your Windows account and camera credentials, and check reports and attachments before sharing them.
8. Your rights, contact, and updates
Depending on the laws that apply to you, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information, restrict or object to processing, and withdraw consent where applicable. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. These rights are subject to legal conditions and exceptions.
Send privacy requests to Tardis Labs at tardislabs@gmail.com. We may need information to verify your request. For camera content kept only on your own device, use the app or Windows controls to manage it; emailing us does not give us access to those files.
We will publish policy changes on this page and update the date above.
